Anthony F. Lucas Gold Medal
The Anthony F. Lucas Gold Medal was established in 1936 to recognize distinguished achievements in improving the technique and practice of finding and producing petroleum. Captain Anthony F. Lucas was a pioneer in the oil industry and is considered by many to be a founder of petroleum engineering.
