Nominate a 6-12th Grade Teacher by March 14 for the DiscoverE Educator Awards!

The DiscoverE Educator Awards are shining a spotlight on the educators who are inspiring tomorrow’s innovation generation. By honoring the teachers who are hard at work in 6th to 12th grade classrooms (here in the US and abroad), the engineering profession wants to show its appreciation and respect for the educators who are helping students discover engineering. Unique to this program, engineers and engineering students are part of the nomination process.

Three winners will receive a trip to Washington, D.C. for a recognition event in June 2014, a $2,000 cash prize, and a 3M gift pack of classroom supplies. Their engineer/student nominators will also receive the trip to Washington, D.C. Eight notable runners-up will receive $500 each and gift packs.

The application and additional program information are available at www.DiscoverE.org. Applications are due on March 14, 2014.
