AIME Awards Two $4,000 Undergraduate Scholarships to SME Student Members

The American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical, and Petroleum Engineerins (AIME) has
awarded two $4,000 scholarships to SME student members. John Bowling, a Junior at Virginia
Tech, and Jay Gillon, a Senior at the University of Nevada - Reno, each received a John S.
Marshall Memorial Scholarship for the 2007-2008 school year. SME's M&E Scholarship
Committee helped AIME select them from a pool of 23 applicants.
