Gregor Norgaard

AIME Environmental Stewardship Distinguished Service Award in
1998

"In recognition of his outstanding leadership in the development and implementation of facilities to treat waste and recover metals and inorganic materials."

Gregor Norgaard currently serves as vice president and midwest regional manager for United States Filter Corporation. In that capacity he is responsible for sales, service and regeneration operations for 22 facilities in 16 midwestern states. Mr. Norgaard's scope includes all of US Filter's Process and Wastewater products and services.

He has been with the company for ten years; and was previously responsible for design, construction, start-up and operation of the US Filter hazardous waste recovery facility in Roseville, Minnesota. Through its unique approach to centralized recovery, the facility recovers several million pounds of metals and chemicals for reuse each year, and annually reduces the amount of metal bearing sludge destined for landfills by over seven million pounds. Prior to US Filter, Mr. Norgaard was a consulting engineer with PACE. Inc.

Greg Norgaard holds an MS degree in environmental engineering from the University of Minnesota and is a registered professional engineer.
