Jeffrey S. Kroner (AIST)

Jeffrey S. Kroner graduated in 1995 from Grove City College, Grove City, Pa., with a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering. Upon graduation, he worked several years in industrial construction before joining USS-POSCO Industries, Pittsburg, Calif., as a mechanical maintenance supervisor. In 2001 Kroner was appointed reliability engineer for USS-POSCOs Applied Reliability Group, and he now serves as the team leader for the Applied Reliability Group and Central Shops. As team leader, he has led the Applied Reliability Group toward four AIST Reliability Achievement Awards: the 2003 Gold and Bronze Awards, and the 2004 Gold and Silver Awards. Among his numerous reliability certifications, Kroner is a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP). He is also an active member of AISTs Maintenance Processes Operating Committee and an executive member of the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals.
