Thomas W. Oshnock is a Research Consultant in the Process Technology Division at US Steers Technical Center where he is responsible for managing projects in the ironmaking area. These projects have included implementing fluxed pellets and planning the strategy for pulverized coal injection.

He earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Lehigh University before beginning his career with US Steel in 1975 in the Research, Raw Materials and Iron making Division. He earned his master's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 1977 and his professional engineer's certification in 1980.
