Release of Harold W. Paxton Oral History Interview

Harry Paxton is the U.S. Steel University Professor (Emeritus) of Metallurgy and Materials Science at Carnegie Mellon University. He was the first Materials Research Division Director of the NSF, a U.S. Steel executive, a Fellow of AAAS, ASM, and TMS and is the oldest living President of American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical, and Petroleum Engineers (AIME). He has given lectures worldwide and recently has been Chief Scientist on a program with ATI to enhance opportunities for high strength low-alloy vanadium steels in both government and industry.
